Photography as a Profession In Pakistan

Photography is an art practiced by creative people called photographers . We all are very aware of photography . It is an art of capturing and creating photos . It is one of the profession getting popular and famous in this age . From scientific view , it is an art of capturing light with a camera through a digital sensor or film to create a sensation of image. If we look back , nearly 200 years ago , Joseph Niecephore Niepce was the first person to take the world's photograph. Basically, he used heliography an old technique of photography which was invented by himself in 1826/1827 . 

Photographers are basically artists with cameras trained with professional skills who capture photos of objects , peoples , attractive places , animals etc ... Based upon their photography genres . 

In Pakistan , it is one of the easiest way of making money , now a days every single youth is towards photography . In pakistani culture , wedding photography is popular for decades . 

Talking about scope , it is to remember that if you ask any reputated , highly professional or even an average photographer about scope of photography , he will simply give his own opinion based on his own experiences . Remember ! Before deciding a career do a proper research & then move towards conclusion .

There are some professional collages offering bachelors of photography ( 4 years program ) , while photography is taught as a  short course In media sciences and visual studies. 

Life as a photographer can be interesting as well as boring if you don't have any proper skills. Most of the folks go towards photography diploma or short course instead of moving towards bachelor's in photography . In Pakistan, 3 months photography course is enough to become a photographer so why to move towards bachelor's in photography ? Which is a 4 years long program. 

The income of freelance photographer is not fixed as we are all aware of it . From a study it was found that the average income of a photographer in Pakistan is Rs 35,549/- which makes Rs 426,588/- per year . Jobs directly related to your photography degree are graphic designer, magazine editor, medical illustrator , videographer,Photographer,press photographer and camera operator .
